Teaming Up On National Issues & Organizational Development

Within TEAM 250, many Founders' companies, non-profits and families are focused on national issues and business matters such as:

  • Reducing Sex Trafficking
  • Veteran Career Transition
  • Veteran Suicide Prevention
  • Supporting Active Military Families
  • Preventative Healthcare & Wellness
  • Delivering Historically Accurate Education
  • Leadership Development
  • Access to Capital & Financial Management
  • Team Building & Employees
  • Business Development & Social Media
  • Intellectual Property Protection
  • Effective Artificial Intelligence Use

Overcoming the "IMPOSSIBLE" in these broad categories or in various aspects of organizational development won't happen by simply consuming tons of content that can be found in endless locations. Nobody has time for that.

Besides, AI prompts can spit out more data than a staff of 20 could do 2 years ago. But, how do you discern the right questions to ask? How do we compete while building our personal & business relationships and leveraging technology?

Getting results by making progress in your specific transition will happen by owning specific issues and by connecting in targeted, facilitated Mastermind Groups with Founders who share common interests, experience and concerns.

During the onboarding process, Founders will identify their areas of focus for a specific "IMPOSSIBLE" challenge where they need help AND areas where they may be able to contribute support and expertise.

TEAM 250 Mastermind Labs are designed based on onboarding input. Each Mastermind Lab will be facilitated by a community host. They will be interactive, virtual meetings using technology to document lessons learned, hot topics and requested input.

The Labs will be scheduled to run weekly, bi-weekly or monthly and the topics will be evaluated & updated between quarterly summits based on engagement. It's likely larger labs may be broken down into smaller lab segments as needed.

The Mastermind Labs will help provide feedback to design main stage and breakout sessions during quarterly CHALLENGER Summits and 2027 Debrief.

BOTTOM LINE: Every TEAM 250 Founder participating in Mastermind Labs will be able to apply key elements necessary to Overcome the "IMPOSSIBLE" in their individual pursuit.

Mastermind FAQs

How are individual Small Group Cohorts members chosen?

Each TEAM 250 member is interviewed before being selected. Part of the first and subsequent discussions revolves around specific goals, objectives and challenges that can be part of the Mastermind Groups. Combined with personal and professional backgrounds, experience and mutual interests, TEAM 250 Leaders will assemble the teams to create the most aligned peer groups possible.

Is there a guarantee my problem will be solved?

No. While there is tremendous effort and care taken to build a strong cohort, there is no guarantee of any result. One of the reasons cohorts rotate membership mid-year is to create several opportunities to build strong relationships to help each TEAM 250 Founder Overcome their Challenge.

Can I adjust my Challenge focus during or between cohorts?

Yes. Your focus is your decision. You may widen, narrow or otherwise adjust your focus. The time at the beginning of each cohort meeting allows each member to provide relevant updates to their fellow cohort members.

What's the difference between Overcoming the "IMPOSSIBLE" in a Small Group Cohort and a Larger Lab?

Small Group Cohorts are much more intense and require strong peer screening and skills to ensure likelihood of success. This includes a working agreement and additional financial participation.

Many TEAM 250 Founders are working on components of business matters and major national initiatives like Veteran Suicide Prevention. Larger Mastermind Labs offer a more flexible schedule with support and connections to help existing member organizational structures.

What if I miss a Cohort meeting or have a schedule conflict?

Life happens and in case of emergencies, missing a cohort meeting is not the end of the world. However, one of the reasons for working agreements is to get commitment on meeting dates from each group member before the cohort begins. Each Cohort member (7 Max) is important and the meetings need to be a priority which in turn drives group accountability.

Why does a Small Group Cohort Mastermind require an financial upgrade?

The work required to screen, facilitate and support 5 to 7 members in a Small Group Cohort is intense. There is significant cost to ensure a trained facilitator is available and committed to serve the Cohort for six months. The upgrade fee is not requested until after a working agreement is reviewed and accepted by all Cohort members.

How big will Mastermind Labs be?

Given there are only 250 Founders, it's likely that average participation in any live Mastermind Labs may only reach 10 - 25 members. The upside is these group events will be recorded and members can review and contribute to the discussion, questions as well as requests for help without being locked into a particular schedule.

Can I be a TEAM 250 Founder and not participate in a Cohort?

Yes. Most TEAM 250 Founders are focused on issues which are supported by the Mastermind Labs built around specific subjects from onboarding input. Larger Labs also facilitate connections with fellow TEAM 250 Founder with expertise and insights to help support individual challenges.

There will be multiple Mastermind Labs meeting on a regular basis in the community which will provide significant resources, connections and opportunities.

Can I start and stop participation in a Small Group Cohort?

No. The purpose of developing a working agreement prior to the beginning of a cohort is to make sure it's a good fit in terms of peer group, schedule, accountability and focus. While an occasional miss due to an unexpected emergency can be excused, starting and stopping in the middle of a cohort will not be possible because it breaks the rhythm, flow and relationships within the cohort.

Will Small Group Cohort members get the same hot seat time?

Absolutely. Each cohort member will have equal planned time during the half-year cohort. At the same time, this isn't a legalistic matter down to the minute. Hot Seats will be different every meeting, which means not every member will be on the hot seat every meeting. The facilitator will schedule hot seats so you can prepare.

Why are Small Group Cohorts an optional part of the American Dream Challenge?

Much like the example of the "COMMITTEE OF FIVE" who drafted the Declaration of Independence, the value of working in focus as part of a small group is incredibly valuable to the larger group. This is especially true when professionally facilitated to serve each member's personal or group Challenge. This also requires peer level skills and accountability which bring substantial power to the organization. Both contribute to Taking on & Overcoming "IMPOSSIBLE" Challenges.

How will Quarterly CHALLENGER Summits impact the Large and Small Mastermind Groups?

There will be continuous dialogue and feedback from the all Mastermind meetings which will help shape the Quarterly Summit agendas. This may drive breakout sessions or instructional segments to improve existing Large & Small Mastermind groups that will serve the Summit gatherings.
