Are AVIATION WARRIORS only Aircrew?

No.

Aviation Warriors is used in the broad sense to represent all men and women who engage in and support combat aviation.

The definition of warrior is a person engaged or experienced in warfare. Many military personnel are in harm's way to support combat missions through front line maintenance, weapons, intelligence, tanker, airlift, command & control and other key roles.

William Tell is a great competition to promote Aviation Warriors because it includes competitors from many critical roles required to prepare, support and deliver weapons. In the future, we hope this will include both inter-service and allied competitors, just as we expect in real-world combat.

Has the Air Force officially announced William Tell 2025?  

Yes, it's currently scheduled to happen in Savannah, Sep 9 - 18th, but is subject to change.

As indicated by the disclaimer at the bottom of this website, nothing on this website should be construed to imply official USAF, USG or DOD approval, endorsement or support.

However, the team and organizations recognized here worked to support William Tell 2023 and have contributed resources to produce many of the deliverables listed above.

Everything here is put forth from a citizen / private sector viewpoint making no assumption the military will accept our commemorative gifts, participate in our events, invite us to support William Tell 2025 or anything else.

Rest assured, we are not operating in a vacuum and are doing all we can to support military organizations, to communicate with military leadership and to operate within DOD rules.

Our primary focus is raising private-sector support to raise Aviation Warriors' & families' Morale and encourage the traditional warrior culture necessary to protect America!

We believe this will also make it clear to our adversaries, America's citizens, veterans, companies & non-profits stand behind our military... with much more than simply words.

Is this an Air Force only initiative?

While the US Air Force has primary military responsibility to acquire and maintain Air Dominance, Navy and Marine Corps Fighter Aircraft play key roles... and depending on the scenario, they may be leading the effort.

In addition, once Air Dominance is established Army Choppers are engaged in warfare from the skies as are multi-service rescue / medi-vac teams that execute extremely dangerous missions to support downed airmen and wounded troops.

The bottom line is AVIATION WARRIORS is designed to raise morale and support the traditional warrior culture regardless of branch of service. At the same time, we are focusing on the US Air Force and its heritage for obvious reasons.

When can I expect to receive my Historical Commemorative Book?

Currently the book is being written, heritage content organized, William Tell material reviewed and approved. We expect the book will be sent to the printers in summer 2025 and will be published by William Tell 2025.

You will be notified of the expected publication dates and the options to have your book shipped or picked up at one of the live events.

Will this project expand beyond aviation?

That is the plan. Every branch of the US Armed Forces is facing similar morale, cultural, budget, retention, readiness and recruiting challenges.

AVIATION WARRIORS is only the first step. Based on the initial support for William Tell 2023 and the success of this initiative leading to William Tell 2025, we will be pursuing collaborative activities with well aligned organizations.

What else can I do to help? 

The biggest help is to share AVIATION WARRIORS with your network and ask folks to join you in supporting it. We all have different circumstances, but knowing we are in the fight together makes a world of difference. The vast majority of participants will be FREE Subscribers.
